Care and Repair Edinburgh has been part of a successful bid for two joint projects which have received NHS Change Fund Innovation Grant. We will be working with Changeworks, Pilmeny Development Project and LifeCare Edinburgh on Changeworks Heat Heroes project, aimed at alleviating fuel poverty and promoting energy efficiency for our elderly/disabled clients, and also with The Edinburgh Volunteer Centre on increasing services which can be provided to older people by volunteers.

Scottish actor Brian Cox, who has featured in such blockbusters as Rob Roy, Braveheart, The Ring, X2, Troy and The Bourne Supremacy as well as a vast range of theatre, radio and television productions, has become the first Patron of Care and Repair Edinburgh.
